Breast Cancer Awareness Month Grunts Move Junk

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness Grunts Move JunkOctober is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know that 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer at some point in their life? Just think about that for a minute. You, your mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece or a friend may develop breast cancer someday. That hits close to home when you take the time to actually think about how much this could potentially affect you or someone you know and love.

Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer found in woman. Although there is no good news that comes with hearing the words “breast cancer”, most women survive breast cancer if it is found and treated early on! This is made possible by mammograms, which are screening tests used to help find breast cancer early on when it’s easier to treat. Source

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is important because it is a way to bring awareness about the importance of early detection.

Grunts Move Junk will be supporting the cause by donating 10% of proceeds from the month of October, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We will also be wearing our bright pink shirts again!

Feel free to wave and say hello if you see any of our Grunts working hard over these next few weeks. You will be able to see them from a mile away!
